Eric & Joan
Hi First let me introduce ourselves – we are Eric & Joan Youle and “retired” to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, from South Australia, in 2000. But in fact Mannatech Independent Associates developing our own business and Lifestyle.
We grew up respectively in Yorkshire and Bedfordshire
I gaining an engineering degree at a local college – then on qualification moved to take a job “down south” where I met and married my wife Joan.
In the mid 60s dissatisfaction with conditions had us on the move – to start a new life “down under”.
In South Australia I established myself as government research scientist, up to my retirement in 1994. And Joan in addition to her role as wife and mother of three, worked as a doctor’s receptionist then established her own Massage and Skeletal Alignment Clinic.
Retirement brought lots of spare time and reduced the resources available to indulge. Family history research has been a major component of my spare time activities for a couple of decades. Travel and travel planning feature too, as do walking the dog and frequenting coffee shops.
Spend (too much) time on the internet, researching, communicating developing web sites and blogs. Enjoy reading Si-Fi books to a degree.
But I guess mainly fill my “spare” time in self improvement and developing skills and methods to further my home–business.
